Java Dicom Buddy is an application that may be handy for everybody working in the DICOM world: it provides a convenient way to search the name of a DICOM tag given its DICOM code and on the other hand to search the code given the name of the tag.
- History
Java Dicom Buddy was born when I wanted to learn Java. I often looked at several open source projects like dcm4che, dvtk, mirth with admiration but I barely saw how I could to contribute to those projects. During my search about free applications for the healthcare world, I discovered a nice piece of software called Dicom Buddy. Fortunately (for me), it was not open source so I decided to clone this application using Java.
